David Bray has successfully delivered major infrastructure projects within complex working environments for a number of years.
Prior to starting his current role in Highways England, as Project Director on the A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme, David worked in the aviation sector for 9 years leading a design and build business that delivered high profile projects at Gatwick, Manchester, and Stansted airports as well as Terminal 5 at Heathrow. He also worked as the Programme Director delivering Manchester’s Metrolink expansion programme.
David has significant experience of modern methods of construction including lean methodologies, design for manufacture and just in time logistics. He is also an experienced practitioner of collaborative working.
His success in delivering projects on time and within budget is underpinned by the creation of high performance teams.
